The Daylily Society of Minnesota (DSM) promotes the development and enjoyment of the daylily—Hemerocallis—with an emphasis on culture in northern climates.
The Daylily Society of Minnesota was founded in 1980 as a 501(c)(3) organization under the name “Hemerocallis Society of Minnesota”. The Board of Directors has added and now uses the additional name, "Daylily Society of Minnesota." The organization retains use of the original name as well.
In addition to its nominal membership dues, DSM relies on donations and fundraising activities to support its programs. Donations are always welcome and may be tax deductible, depending on the individual's circumstances.
We particularly appreciate daylily donations for our sales and auctions.
Volunteers are the backbone of DSM!
Being a volunteer is a great way to meet daylily growers.
When you see a request for volunteers, jump right in! Contact a Director or Chairperson to see how you can help.
Some jobs take as little as a few hours. And if you want to do more, we’ll find a spot for you!
